A flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday, May 5 to extend through Friday evening for areas of southern Oregon including Lake County. Landslides are possible in steep terrain during this weather event, and the risk is even higher in recently burned areas. The flash flood watch is in effect for most of Lake County and far eastern Klamath County.

In the only track meet scheduled all season to feature all three Lake County High Schools, the Summit JV Invitational track meet at Summit High School in Bend on Wednesday, April 27 welcomed North Lake, Lakeview and Paisley along with five other teams to compete.
