I like the new updated website design, however, it does leave out some important basic information and links. The layout is easy the navigate but the information is not detailed enough to make me want to join and pay. We have been spoiled with reading all the local news without paying for it.

Here are some suggestions that may help:
1) Put a direct email link on each page – ?how do we contact you? There sure are plenty of “powdered by Max” contact links, you should have at least as many as they do.
2) Give people back their Obits, that appears to be very important based on the comments.
3) Add a link to the home page top bar “Sign up here for your complete online news”
4) Maybe give more articles with basic two-line highlights & a “sign up for complete version” link.
5) The home page represents itself as a complete online version – make it clear on the homepage what the costs are to get the complete version. The cost appears to be hidden.
6) Don’t damage your great reputation with short cutting your readers.
7) I do like all the pictures. They are clear and exciting to see.

9) I know what a “Meta” is, but in general most people don’t know or care. Don’t use computer language on your readers.
