Lake County and Town of Lakeview planning commissions continued a hearing on Tuesday, May 17 to consider expanding and rezoning the town urban growth boundary for a Red Rock Biofuels project after its last meeting in mid-April. Due to the lack of advice from the Town’s legal counsel, the hearing will be prolonged to Tuesday, June 21 at 7 p.m.

Since last summer, hundreds of ties were collected with 250-300 used for an expansive quilt that will be raffled off at this year’s Lake County Fair. The quilt currently is on display at the Lake County Chamber of Commerce, where tickets can be purchased.
