Town of Lakeview Police

Tuesday, Aug. 19— Lakeview Police received a report of a possible break-in in the 700 block of North 2nd Street. The case is currently under investigation.
Wednesday, Aug. 20 — At 11:39 a.m., Lakeview Police made contact with Sharron Yvonne Zimmerman, 18, of Lakeview, concerning a civil service. At the time of contact, it was believed Zimmerman had a warrant for her arrest for failing to appear. Zimmerman was checked for wants and warrants, and it was confirmed that she had a valid Lake County warrant. Zimmerman was arrested and lodged in the Lake County Jail.
Thursday, Aug. 21 — At 2:45 a.m., Lakeview Police conducted a traffic stop in the Lakeview Lodge parking lot. Subsequent to investigation, Cynthia Icenhower was arrested for DUII and lodged in the Lake County Jail.
At 7:21 p.m., Lakeview Police initiated a traffic stop at the corner of North F and North 4th streets. Walter McLane was issued a citation for driving without a valid driver’s license. Lakeview Towing towed the vehicle per policy.
At 7:29 p.m., Lakeview Police received found property located at the laundromat located at 1103 N. 4th St.
Saturday, Aug. 23 — Lakeview Police Department served a search warrant at 805 N. 4th St. More than an ounce of marijuana was recovered along with cash. Jamie Richardson was arrested and lodged at the Lake County Jail for unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful delivery of marijuana and unlawful manufacture of marijuana.
Sunday, Aug. 24 — At 7:47 a.m., Lakeview Police responded to a cold burglary at the Assembly of God Church. To report any leads on the incident, contact the Town of Lakeview Police Department at 947-2504.

Oregon State Police Report

Friday, Aug. 15 — At 9:10 a.m., OSP responded to a single-vehicle crash on Hwy. 395 near milepost 135.5. Gregory John Kier, of Canby, was southbound on Hwy. 395 in a 1999 Dodge 2500 pickup, towing a 2003 Titan Horse trailer, when he failed to slow down for a cattle drive. Three cows were injured in the crash, two of which suffered fatal injuries.
Sunday, Aug. 17 — At 11:37 p.m., Roy A. Lambert of Astoria was stopped on Hwy. 31 near milepost 91 for a traffic violation. He refused to perform standard field sobriety tests. Lambert was lodged in the Lake County Jail for DUII. He was cited for open container, driving uninsured and refused a breath test. A court date was set for Monday, Sept. 8, and his vehicle was impounded and towed by Lakeview Towing to their lot.
At 9:50 a.m., OSP responded to a single-vehicle crash on Hwy. 140 west at milepost 95. Daniel Zimmer of Rexburg, Idaho, was eastbound on Hwy. 140 when he crossed over the westbound lane and crashed into an irrigation ditch. No injuries were reported on behalf of the driver, but passenger Catherine Zimmer issued an injury complaint.

Grand Jury Indictments

Chance Joseph Clause, 22, was indicted by a grand jury on Monday, Aug. 4, on one felony count of burglary in the first degree, and two misdemeanor counts of harassment, and one other of interfering with making a report.
According to reports, Clause entered 159 S. H St. on July 25 with the intent to commit the crime of menacing and/or harassment.
It is alleged that he kept Judy Rogers from making a report to 911 by physically taking the phone away from her and committed offensive physical contact by grabbing her and pushing her down on the couch and holding her down.
Antonio Travelle Ryan, 28, was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday, Aug. 21 on one felony count of possession of a controlled substance - cocaine, stemming from a July 30 incident.
Ryan is alleged to have been in possession of cocaine when he was arrested in Lake County.
Daniel Wray Lobdell, was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday, Aug. 21 on two felony counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and one misdemeanor count each of driving under the influence of an intoxicant and reckless driving.
According to court documents, Lobdell was pulled over for reckless driving on Tuesday, Aug. 19 and eventually arrested for driving under the influence along Highway 140, near milepost 86. The intoxicant in question is said to be either morphine, methadone and/or marijuana.
During Lobdell’s arrest both morphine and methadone were found in his possession.
Karen Lynn Tappert, 55, was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday, Aug. 21 on one felony count of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, and one misdemeanor count each of reckless driving and driving while suspended/revoked.
It is alleged that on Saturday, Aug. 16, Tappert was pulled over for reckless driving along Oil Dry Road near Christmas Valley Highway and it was soon discovered her driving privileges had been suspended or revoked in the State of Oregon.
However, prior to her arrest, Tappert, who had been signaled by police officer to pull over failed to do so and attempted to flee prior to finally being arrested.
