The defendant, Aaron Wayne O’Neill, has been accused by the Grand Jury of Lake County of the following offenses: 1. Assault in the third degree – on or about Jan. 31, 2020, in Lake County being at least 18 years of age, did unlawfully and intentionally cause physical injury to S.O. a child 10 years of age or younger. 2. Assault in the fourth degree constituting domestic violence – on or about Jan. 31, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and recklessly cause physical injury to C.J., and at the time of the commission of the offense, defendant knew the above named victim was pregnant. 3. Strangulation – on or about Jan. 31, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly impede the normal breathing or blood circulation of C.J. by applying pressure on the throat and neck of C.J. and the crime was committed in the immediate presence of or was witnessed by the defendant’s or the victim’s minor child, stepchild or other minor child residing with the household of the defendant or victim. 4. Coercion – on or about Jan. 31, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly compel or induce C.J. to abstain from engaging in conduct in which C.J. had a legal right to engage, to wit: leaving the residence by means of instilling in C.J. a fear that if C.J. engaged in the conduct contrary to said compulsion or inducement, defendant would unlawfully cause physical injury to C.J. 5. Endangering the welfare of a minor – on or about Jan. 31, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly permit S.O., a person under the age of eighteen years, to enter or remain in a place where unlawful activity involving controlled substances was maintained and conducted. 6. Endangering the welfare of a minor – on or about Jan. 31, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly permit K.O., a person under the age of eighteen years, to enter or remain in a place where unlawful activity involving controlled substances was maintained and conducted. 7. Menacing constituting domestic violence – on or about Jan. 31, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and intentionally attempt to place C.J. in fear of imminent serious physical injury by threatening to kill her while choking her.

The defendant, Steven Timothy Babb, has been accused by the Grand Jury of Lake County of the following offense: 1. Unlawful possession of methamphetamine – on or about Jan. 23, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly possess a usable quantity of methamphetamine and, at the time of possession, the defendant had a prior felony conviction, to-wit: Theft in the First Degree in Lake County Case 17CR16525.

The defendant, Anthony David Hartley, has been accused by the Grand Jury of Lake County of the following offense: 1. Unlawful possession of methamphetamine – on or about Dec. 19, 2019, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly possess two grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine.
