The defendant, Shawn James Murray, has been accused by the Grand Jury of Lake County of the following offenses: 1. Unauthorized use of a vehicle — on or about March 21, in Lake County, did unlawfully and knowingly take, operate, ride in, exercise control over and otherwise use a vehicle, to wit: a 1996 Dodge 2500, without consent of the owner, Vincent William Shammo. The State further alleges that the property stolen was a vehicle valued at $10,000 or more and used primarily for personal rather than commercial transportation. 2. Possession of a stolen motor vehicle — on or about March 21, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly possess a stolen motor vehicle, to wit: a 1996 Dodge 2500, the property of Shammo. 3. Felon in possession of a firearm — on or about March 21, in Lake County, having previously been convicted in Shasta County, Calif., on March 15, 2010, of the felony of evading a peace officer, did unlawfully and knowingly have in said defendant’s possession, custody or control a firearm. 4. Fleeing or attempting to flee a police officer — on or about March 21, in Lake County being an operator of a motor vehicle upon a public highway or premises open to the public and having been given a visible or audible signal to stop by a police officer who was in uniform and prominently displaying the police officer’s badge of office or operating a vehicle appropriately marked showing it to be an official police vehicle, did unlawfully and knowingly, while still in the vehicle, flee or attempt to elude a pursuing police officer. 5. Reckless driving — on or about March 21, in Lake County, did unlawfully and recklessly drive a vehicle upon a highway or premises open to the public in a manner that endangered the safety of persons or property. 6. Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle — on or about March 21, in Lake County did unlawfully and with intent to commit the crime of theft, enter a motor vehicle or a part of a motor vehicle. 7 — on or about March 21, in Lake County did unlawfully commit theft of personal property, of the total value of $100 or more, the property of William Brady Feigner. 8. Burglary in the first degree — on or between March 19 and March 21, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly enter or remain in a dwelling located at 13606 Hwy 395S, Lakeview, with the intent to commit the crime of theft therein. 9. Burglary in the second degree — on or between March 19 and March 21 in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly enter or remain in a building located at 13606 Hwy 395S, Lakeview, with the intent to commit the crime of theft therein. 3. Theft in the first degree — on or between March 19 and March 21 in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly commit theft of a Remington .243 rifle, a firearm, and personal property of Veronica Estelle Butler. The State further alleges that these items had a value of over one dollar but less than $5,000.

The defendant, Timothy Scott Johnson, has been accused by the Grand Jury of Lake County of the following offenses: 1. Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer — on or about March 22, in Lake County being an operator of a motor vehicle upon a public highway or premises open to the public and having been given a visible or audible signal to stop by a police officer who was in uniform and prominently displaying the police officer’s badge or operating a vehicle appropriately marked showing it to be an official police vehicle, did unlawfully and knowingly, while still in the vehicle, floor or attempt to elude a pursuing police officer. 2. Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer — on or about March 22, in Lake County being an operator of a motor vehicle upon a public highway or premises upon to the public, and having been given a visible or audible signal to stop by a police officer who was in uniform and prominently displaying the police officer’s badge or operating a vehicle appropriately marked showing it to be an official police vehicle, did unlawfully and knowingly, get out of the vehicle and unlawfully and knowingly flee or attempt to elude the police officer. 3. Reckless driving — on or about March 22, in Lake County, did unlawfully and recklessly drive a vehicle upon a highway or premises open to the public in a manner that endangered the safety of persons or property. 4. Recklessly endangering another person — on or about March 22, in Lake County did unlawfully and recklessly create a substantial risk of serious physical injury to MR and AB by driving through a yard past a bedroom occupied by said children and striking a tree.
