The defendant, Michael Ray Schulte, has been accused by the Grand Jury of Lake County of the following offenses: 1. Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer — on or about Sept. 25, 2020, in Lake County being an operator of a motor vehicle upon a public highway or premises open to the public and having been given a visible or audible signal to stop by a police officer who was in uniform and prominently displaying the police officer’s badge of office or operating a vehicle appropriately marked showing it to be an official police vehicle, did unlawfully and knowingly, while still in the vehicle, flee or attempt to elude a pursuing police officer. 2. Fleering or attempting to elude a police officer — on or about Sept. 25, 2020, in Lake County being an operator of a motor vehicle upon a public highway or premises open to the public, and having been given a visible or audible signal to stop by a police officer who was in uniform and prominently displaying the police officer’s badge of office or operating a vehicle appropriately marked showing it to be an official police vehicle, did unlawfully and knowingly, get out of the vehicle and unlawfully and knowingly flee or attempt to elude the police officer. 3. Interfering with a peace officer — on or about Sept. 25, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly refuse to obey a lawful order of Scott Hill, a person known by the defendant to be a peace officer, that order was stop.

The defendant, Caleb Chess, has been accused by the Grand Jury of Lake County of the following offenses: 1. Burglary in the first degree — on or between Dec. 29, 2018, and Feb. 4, 2019, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly enter or remain in a building located at Hill Lane, Christmas Valley, with the intent to commit the crime of theft therein. 2. Burglary in the second degree — on or between Dec. 29, 2018, and Feb. 4, 2019, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly enter or remain in a building, a shipping container, located at Hill Lane, Christmas Valley, with the intent to commit the crime of theft therein. 3. Aggravated theft in the first degree — on or between Dec. 29, 2018, and Feb. 4, 2019, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly commit theft of personal property, of the total value of $10,000 or more, the property of Raymond Carrier.

The defendant, Danny Ray Dial, has been accused by the Grand Jury of Lake County of the following offenses: 1. Burglary in the first degree — on or about Sept. 18, 2020, did unlawfully and knowingly enter and remain in a building that was a dwelling located at 560 S. 12th St., Lakeview, with the intent to commit the crime of assault therein. The State further alleges that the defendant was armed with a deadly weapon. Further, the State alleges that there was attempted and, or, actual injury to Richard Kenneth Stafford. 2. Assault in the fourth degree — on or about Sept. 18, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and recklessly cause physical injury to Richard Kenneth Stafford. 3. Felon in possession of a firearm — on or about Sept. 18, 2020, in Lake County having previously been convicted in Lake County, case 18CR07045 on March 1, 2018, of the felony of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, did unlawfully and knowingly have in said defendant’s possession, custody or control a firearm. 4. Criminal trespass in the first degree — on or about Sept. 18, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly enter or remain in a dwelling located at 560 S. 12th St., Lakeview.
