The defendant, Jon Patrick Thompson, has been accused by the Grand Jury of Lake County of the following offense: 1. Assault in the second degree – on or about Oct. 23, 2019, in Lake County did unlawfully and intentionally cause physical injury to James Thomas Wagner by means of a deadly or dangerous weapon, to wit: a pen, by stabbing James Thomas Wagner in the neck.

The defendant, Frederick James Hillyard, has been accused by the Grand Jury of Lake County of the following offenses: 1. Unlawful exporting of marijuana items – on or about Dec. 19, 2019, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly export marijuana items, to wit: usable marijuana, from this State. The state further alleges that the offense concerns an amount of marijuana items that exceeds 16 times eight ounces of usable marijuana. 2. Unlawful delivery of marijuana item – on or about Dec. 19, 2019, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly deliver a marijuana item, to wit: usable marijuana. The state further alleges that the amount possessed was 16 times eight ounces of usable marijuana. 3. Unlawful possession of marijuana by a person age 21 years or older – on or about Dec. 19, 2019, in Lake County while being 21 years of age or older, did unlawfully and knowingly possess more than eight ounces of usable marijuana. The state further alleges that the amount possessed was 16 times eight ounces of usable marijuana. 4. Criminal conspiracy – on or about Dec. 19, 2019, in Lake County did unlawfully, with intent that conduct constituting the crime of exporting marijuana, punishable as a class c felony, engage in the performance of the following conduct, acting with another, did unlawfully and knowingly transport marijuana with the intent to promote the carrying out of unlawful activity to wit: delivery of marijuana for consideration.

The defendant, Lacy Rachelle Shadrick, has been accused by the Grand Jury of Lake County of the following offenses: 1. Criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree – on or about Feb. 10, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully, while knowing the instrument to be forged and with intent to utter it, did possess counterfeit currency, a written instrument that purported to be part of an issue of money issued by the Federal Reserve, a government or governmental agency. 2. Unlawful possession of a schedule II controlled substance – on or about Feb. 11, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly possess Clonazepam, a schedule II controlled substance. 3. Unlawful possession of methamphetamine – on or about Feb. 11, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly possess methamphetamine.

The defendant, Joshua Edwin Frank, has been accused by the Grand Jury of Lake County of the following offenses: 1. Assaulting a public safety officer – on or about Feb. 28, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and intentionally cause physical injury to Scott Hill, a person the defendant knew to be a peace officer, while Scott Hill was acting in the course of official duty. 2. Assaulting a public safety officer – on or about Feb. 28, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and intentionally cause physical injury to Brennan Pilon, a person the defendant knew to be a peace officer, while Brennan Pilon was acting in the course of official duty. 3. Assaulting a public safety officer – on or about Feb. 28, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and intentionally cause physical injury to Cliff Hargis, a person the defendant knew to be a peace officer, while Cliff Hargis was acting in the course of official duty. 4. Resisting arrest – on or about Feb. 28, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and intentionally resist Scott Hill, a person known to the defendant to be a peace officer, in making an arrest. 5. Unlawful possession of methamphetamine – on or about Feb. 28, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly possess a usable quantity of methamphetamine and, at the time of possession, the defendant had a prior felony conviction, to wit: burglary II in Lake County Case No. 150143CR. 6. Tampering with physical evidence – on or about Feb. 28, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly destroy, mutilate, alter, conceal or remove physical evidence, to wit: methamphetamine pipe, this impairing its verity or availability, with the intent that it be unavailable in an official proceeding which to the knowledge of said defendant was about to be instituted to wit: charges of possession of methamphetamine.

The defendant, Armando Alonso Cobian, has been accused by the Grand Jury of the following offenses: 1. Assault in the second degree – on or about Feb. 25, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and intentionally cause physical injury to William Dean Ward by means of a deadly or dangerous weapon, to wit: a rake, by striking William Dean Ward repeatedly. 2. Assault in the fourth degree – on or about Feb. 25, 2020 in Lake County did unlawfully and with criminal negligence, cause physical injury to William Dean Ward by means of a rake, a deadly weapon. 3. Criminal trespass in the second degree – on or about Feb. 25, 2020, in Lake County did unlawfully and knowingly enter or remain in or upon the premises located on the 100 block of south E street Lakeview.
