Tuesday, June 1 — Deputies responded to Lofton Reservoir regarding a stolen vehicle. Deputies contacted the reporting party who stated they left camp to shower in Bly, when they returned a few hours later their vehicle was missing. The vehicle has been entered into LEDS as stolen.
Tuesday, June 1 — Deputies responded to a violation of a restraining order in Silver Lake. The investigation revealed the respondent violated a restraining order by making verbal contact with the petitioner at the Silver Lake gas station. The investigation has been forwarded to the DA for charging.
Thursday, June 3 — Deputies responded to North Lake School to a report of a student possessing a vape pen. The vape pen was seized as evidence and the student was issued a citation. The investigation has been forward to the Juvenile Department for follow-up.
Saturday, June 5 — Deputies responded to the Polar Bear Café in Lakeview regarding a verbal dispute. The investigation revealed that the estranged boyfriend confronted his ex-girlfriend and began yelling at her. The suspect then advanced on a third party in a threatening manner. The suspect was arrested for menacing and disorderly contact and transported to the Lake County Jail.
Sunday, June 6 — Deputies responded to the 97000 block of State Line Road in New Pine Creek for a report of a person discharging a firearm near a residence. Upon arrival Modoc County Sheriff’s deputies were present at the scene. The investigation revealed the suspect had thrown an ignited Molotov cocktail at the residence. The suspect had also fired a .22 caliber rifle near the residence. The suspect was arrested on several charges and booked into the Lake County Jail.
