Tuesday, July 3 — Steven Howard McLane, 32, of Lakeview was stopped for a traffic violation. McLane had an outstanding felony warrant for Failure To Appear. A search of the white Jeep Cherokee revealed methamphetamine. McLane, Marilyn C. Knittle, 25 of Lakeview, Samantha May Jones, 31 of Lakeview and Monte Lee Dial, 24, of Lakeview were arrested for PCS Meth. The Jeep was impounded by Hall Motor Company and McLane was cited for Driving With Suspended License, no insurance and open container. 

Tuesday, July 3 — Robert Crawford, 52, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz. was westbound on Hwy 140 E near mile marker 81.5. Crawford’s blue Harley Davidson struck a deer attempting to cross the highway. Crawford and Sally Gibson, 47, of Lake Havasu Ariz., were ejected and suffered moderate injuries. Crawford was subsequently airlifted out of the area for treatment. Don Deiter’s Towing recovered the motorcycle. 

Tuesday, July 3 — Christian Rasch, 30, struck a deer in the road with his black Toyota pickup on Hwy 395 near mile marker 141. The pickup had moderate right front bumper damage. 

Wednesday, July 4 — Amanda LeAnn Strain, 29, of Lakeview was stopped for a traffic violation. A consent to search was denied. A K9 alert to her blue Ford Explorer and a probable cause search revealed methamphetamine. Strain was lodged in jail for PCS meth. Strain’s Ford Explorer was impounded by Don Deiters Towing and Strain was cited for Driving with Suspended License and no insurance.
