Thursday, Nov. 14 – Deputies responded to the 200 block of North P Street regarding a physical domestic incident where the female had been assaulted by her husband. The investigation revealed that the male had assaulted his wife after he came home from drinking and possibly using drugs. The assault was witnessed by several children in the residence. The male was arrest for assault IV degree, and transported to the Lake County Correction’s Facility and booked.
Friday, Nov. 29 – Deputies executed a search warrant in the 88000 block of Fairview Lane regarding a rash of burglaries north Lake County has been experiencing. The search warrant led to the arrests of four suspects and the recovery of copious amounts of stolen property. The investigation has cleared at least three burglaries and quite possibly will clear more that are under investigation. The investigation has been forwarded to the District Attorney to consider charging all four suspects with four counts of burglary in the first degree, three counts of burglary in the second degree, three counts of theft in the first degree, criminal mischief in the first degree, two counts of criminal mischief in the second degree and six counts of felon in possession of a firearm. The suspects were transported to the Lake County Correction’s Facility and booked.
Tuesday, Nov. 19 – A OSP trooper stopped Ian Thomas Hoesing, Bonanza, for a traffic violation at Stock Drive and Westside Road. A records check revealed that the driver was driving with a suspended license. The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license and no insurance. The car, a gold Chevy Tahoe, was towed by Hall Towing to the impound lot.
Wednesday, Nov. 20 – OSP troopers went to 1170 S. F St. to arrest two wanted persons with outstanding warrants. Jeremiah Wayne Bingham, Lakeview, and Courtnie Cyrena Clements, Lakeview, were both arrested and lodged in the Lake County Jail.
Wednesday, Nov. 20 – A OSP trooper stopped Danny William Larsh, Lakeview, at the corner of South 11th and E streets, for a traffic violation. A check with the DMV revealed that the driver had his license revoked. The driver was lodged in the Lake County Jail for driving with a suspended license and probation violation. The vehicle, a red Ford F150, was towed by Hall Motor Company.
Friday, Nov. 22 – OSP responded to an accident on Hwy 140E at milepost 15 when a truck, pulling a trailer, struck a calf and a cow in the roadway. The driver, Joseph Edward Flynn, Plush, was not injured. The cow and calf were owned by Flynn Ranch. The driver arranged for the vehicles to be removed at a later date.
Saturday, Nov. 23 – OSP responded to an accident on Hwy. 395 at milepost 56 when Larry Reid Appel, Crescent City, Calif., struck and killed a cow. The owner of the cow, William Peila, Hines, was notified. The vehicle, a white Ford F35, was towed by Deiters Towing.
Monday, Nov. 25 – OSP responded to an accident on Hwy 140W at milepost 66 when Samuel Kenneth Springer lost control of his vehicle in the ice/snow and went off of the highway, hit the rock embankment and rolled at least one time. Driver reported minor injuries. The vehicle, a blue Chevrolet S10, was towed by Don Deiters Auto Body and Towing.
Monday, Nov. 25 – OSP responded to an accident on Hwy 31 at milepost 63. The driver, Aiden James Piper, Oregon City, stated he took the corner too sharp and crashed into the shoulder. The driver arranged for AAA to tow the vehicle, a blue Chevrolet Cobalt, the next day.
Tuesday, Nov. 26 – OSP responded to an accident on Hwy 395 when the driver, Joseph Earl Cobb, Morristown, Tenn., made a right turn on State Route 140 started to slide, over-corrected and jack knifed causing damage to state property. ODOT was advised of the damage. No injuries were reported.
Wednesday, Nov. 27 – OSP responded to an accident on Hwy 395 at milepost 137. The driver, Dawn Michelle Lehman, Paisley, went into oncoming traffic and slid off the road. The driver suffered minor injuries. Deiter’s Towing towed the vehicle to the impound lot.
Monday, Dec. 2 – OSP responded to an accident on Hwy 395 at milepost 133. Susan Carol Adams lost control of her vehicle, a silver Dodge, on the ice covered roadway. She crashed into the side slope and rolled her vehicle coming to rest on the passenger side. Minor injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed by Hall Towing.
