Monday, Sept. 28 — OSP conducted an investigation on a residence at the corner of south I and 11th streets. The investigation revealed active drug activity at the residence. A search warrant was obtained, and two residences were searched. OSP, Lake County Sherriff’s Office and Lake County Parole and Probation assisted in the search. Evidence of a butane has oil lab was located inside both residences, along with stolen property. Bo Gibson Compton, Brandi Pulley, Lakeview, and Russell Allen Rohwer, Winston, were all charged with multiple crimes.

Monday, Sept. 28 — OSP stopped Daniel Joseph Rosvold-Sobczyk, Duluth, Minn., for a speeding violation on Hwy 140 at Leehmann Lane. Criminal activity was observed and the vehicle was searched. During the search the OSP trooper found a large amount of marijuana, United States currency, Adderall and LSD. Daniel and Dane Edward Rosvold-Sobczyk, Duluth, Minn., were both cited and released in lieu of custody. The case has been referred to the Lake County District Attorney’s Office.

Monday, Sept. 28 — An OSP trooper responded to an motor vehicle accident on Hwy 395 at mile post 147. H. B. Arthur Harmon, Lake City, Calif., was attempting to pass a loader that was turning into a gravel pit. While the loader was turning Harmon attempted to pass on the left and sideswiped the loader. He went off the road and through a fence owned by Scatena Ranch. Harmon arranged for his own tow.

Thursday, Oct. 1 — An OSP trooper stopped John Henry Williams, Atlanta, Ga., for a speeding violation on Hwy 140 at mile post 90. Criminal activity was observed and the trooper searched the vehicle. The result of the search revealed a large amount of marijuana, marijuana product, marijuana extract, and ketamine. Williams and his passenger, Donald Scott George, Douglasville, Ga., were both cited and released in lieu of custody. The case has been referred to the Lake County District Attorney’s Office.

Thursday, Oct. 1 — OSP responded to an accident on Hwy 140 at Beaty Butte Road. Laurie Ann Dikkers, Umpqua, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 140E when for unknown reasons she drifted into an eastbound ditch striking one delineator post. She then overcorrected and rolled her vehicle multiple times in the roadway, finally coming to a stop upright facing north. Laurie suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital by an ambulance. The passenger, David Bryan Dikkers, Umpqua, sustained minor injuries but was not transported to the hospital. Hall Towing towed their vehicle.

Saturday, Oct. 3 — Deiters Towing towed an abandoned vehicle, a blue Subaru Forester, at Hwy 140 and USFS 42 that had been tagged two days prior.

Monday, Oct. 5 — OSP responded to a report of three trailers and a pickup that were on fire. OSP and Fish and Wildlife conducted an investigation and ruled that the fire was accidental, but the cause was undetermined. The fire originated near the appliances in one trailer and then spread to the other trailers. No injuries among the victims, David Eugene Blevins or Travis Tyler Nelson, were reported.

Monday, Oct. 5 — OSP stopped Jordan Payton Young, Lakeview, at the intersection of Lake Ridge Road and Stock Drive Lane for a traffic violation. During a consent search of the vehicle OSP found marijuana and marijuana in the possession of Young. The marijuana was seized and Young was issued a citation for minor in possession of marijuana.

Tuesday, Oct. 6 — An OSP trooper saw Alison Mae Arter, Lakeview, walk in front of his vehicle at 580 S. 11th St., Lakeview. The trooper knew that she had outstanding warrants, and saw her walk into a residence. When going to contact her, he saw Jeremy Scott McCullough, Lakeview, walk out of a garage. McCullough had three outstanding felony warrants and he was taken into custody. Arter was also taken into custody for the outstanding warrants and possession of methamphetamine. The Lake County Sherriff’s Office and Lake County Probation assisted at the scene.

Saturday, Oct. 10 — OSP responded to a motor vehicle accident on Hwy 140 at mile post 62. Abubker Hussein Abbas, Louisville, Ky., was driving a commercial motor vehicle, with a trailer, westbound on Hwy 140 when he failed to negotiate a corner and rolled onto his side. No injuries were reported. Ace Towing recovered the cab and trailer.
