Oregon State Police Report

Tuesday, May 21 — Oregon State Troopers responded to an abandoned vehicle call on Hwy 395 near mile post 125. An abandoned trailer was located in the ditch. ODOT later removed the trailer and discovered the license plate. The registered owner, John Elvis Harrison, 69, was contacted and claimed the trailer. The case was referred to ODOT. 

Tuesday, May 21 — Troopers stopped a vehicle on Hwy 140 near mile marker 95 for a traffic violation. A DMV check revealed that Trevor John McCoin, 45, had a misdemeanor and suspended license. He was cited to appear on Monday, June 24. 

Tuesday, May 21 — Troopers observed a subject that was known to be criminally suspended from driving and operating a vehicle. The subject immediately turned down a side road. Eventually he was located again and stopped. The subject was criminally cited for driving while criminally revoked and was transported to the Lake County Courthouse to ensure he made his appointment with the Lake County Juvenile Justice Department for unrelated issues. The vehicle was secured on private property.
