Lake County Sheriff Office Report
Sunday, April 21 — Deputies responded to a North Lake residence regarding a deceased adult female. The investigation revealed that the decedent had multiple medical issues that she was experiencing. The cause of death was determined to be due to the medical problems the female had been suffering.
Monday, April 22 — Deputies responded to the Lake District Hospital involving an unwanted person. While investigating the incident it was determined that the female in question had violated a Lake County Circuit Court restraining order numerous times. The female was arrested and booked into the Lake County Correction’s Facility.
Monday, April 22 — Deputies responded to a report of Criminal Mischief at the Lake County Fairgrounds. The reporting party stated the lock on the pay to dump waste for holding tanks had been cut and tampered with. The lock was not removed and nothing appeared to be missing at the time of the investigation. Surveillance camera footage was reviewed and a person of interest was identified. Investigation is ongoing.
Tuesday, April 23 — Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet S10 pick-up in the area of 1200 Center Street. The driver and the passenger were identified due to suspicious activity. Dispatch confirmed a State Wide Felony Warrant for Parole Violation for the arrest of the passenger. The adult male passenger was arrested and booked into the Lake County Correction’s Facility.
Wednesday, April 24 — Deputies contacted the victim of a theft that occurred on E Street in front of the Indian Village. The victim reported that person(s) unknown stole her wallet from her purse, which was in her locked vehicle. The victim also stated that she had her vehicle’s window partially rolled down for her dogs. The victim’s purse was sitting between the two front seats allowing the suspect to reach through the open window and remove the wallet from the purse. Investigation is ongoing.
Friday, April 26 — Deputies responded to the 900 block of North 7th Street to a sighting of a wanted adult male. The suspect would not open the door when Deputies attempted contact at the residence in which the suspect fled. Deputies subsequently requested and were issued a search warrant for entry to the residence. The search of the residence located two wanted persons for Parole Violation. Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Lake County Correction’s Facility.

Thursday, April 18 —A blue commercial vehicle with trailer attempted to turn around on Hwy 31, near mile marker 116.5. The vehicle and trailer, driven by Hector Luis Quinones Maldonado, 28, got stuck in the road blocking both lanes and caused damage to the highway.
Sunday, April 28 — Tony Soto Ramirez, 42, of Lakeview was contacted as a passenger involved in a traffic stop. Ramirez was arrested on a probation violation detainer and lodged at the Lake County jail.
