Office Report

Monday, Oct. 28 — Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Hwy 395 and Geyser View Lane and contacted the female driver. A warrant check was conducted which revealed an outstanding warrant out of Clackamas County for probation violation. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Lake County Corrections Facility and booked.

Monday, Oct. 28 — While on routine patrol Deputies contacted a suspicious person in the area of the 900 block of south 11th. A warrant check was conducted which revealed an outstanding warrant out of Lake County. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Lake County Corrections Facility and booked.

Tuesday, Oct. 29 — Deputies responded to a domestic incident where the ex-wife reported that her ex-husband was sending her harassing text messages. The information was confirmed and the ex-husband was contacted. The incident led to the arrest of the ex-husband who was transported to the Lake County Corrections Facility and booked.

Thursday, Oct. 31 – Deputies responded to a 911 report of a person being run over by a vehicle. The investigation revealed that a verbal confrontation led to an attempted murder after the suspect intentionally ran the victim over with his vehicle. The victim was air lifted to St. Charles Hospital in Bend where he is being treated for life threatening injuries. The suspect was contacted, admitted to the assault and was arrested for attempted murder. The suspect was transported to the Lake County Corrections Facility and booked. The investigation is ongoing.

Thursday, Oct. 31 – Deputies responded to a call of criminal mischief in the 600 block of North H Street. The reporting party stated that someone had painted the words Houma and Nassau in blue paint on his garage doors. Deputies reviewed the surveillance video which revealed the suspect. The suspect was contacted several days later and interviewed. The suspect, who has mental problems, said he would clean the paint off the garage, however he didn’t commit the crime. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Lake County Corrections Facility and booked.
