Monday, Aug. 24 – Deputies and Oregon State Police responded to a vehicle versus cow motor vehicle crash at Five Corners. The driver, an adult male, was arrested on Klamath County warrants and local charges.
Wednesday, Aug. 26 – Deputies began an investigation involving allegations of child sex abuse in Christmas Valley. The suspect, an adult male, was arrested based on the investigation and lodged into the Lake County Correction’s Facility.
Wednesday, Aug. 26 – Deputies responded to a complaint of dogs barking on Sams Way Ln. east of Christmas Valley. The dog owner, an adult female, was issued a citation.
Friday, Aug. 28 – Deputies began looking for a runaway juvenile in Christmas Valley. After interviews the juvenile was found locally and returned to his parents.
Friday, Aug. 28 – Deputies responded to a report of a subject with a gunshot wound who was admitted to the Lake District Hospital emergency room. It was determined that the victim had shot himself due to mishandling a handgun.
Saturday, Aug. 29 – Deputies began investigating a missing 35 year old male. Deputies were contacted by the Washoe County Jail in Reno, Nev., that the male was currently an inmate in their jail. Deputies contacted the reporting party and advised them of the location of the person.
Saturday, Aug. 29 – Deputies arrested an adult male on the 500 block of Center St. on a warrant during a domestic violence investigation.
