Thursday, Jan. 7 — Deputies responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash that resulted in an injury to a pedestrian on the 800 block of S. 2nd St., Lakeview. The driver was cited for driving outside of privileges and the pedestrian was transported to the hospital via EMS.

Friday, Jan. 8 — Unknown suspects forcibly entered the locked storage yard of KBE and stole one of the business vehicles that was secured in the lot. The vehicle was later recovered approximately a mile east of D street in Bullard Canyon. There are no suspects at this time, the investigation is ongoing.

Friday, Jan. 8 — Deputies were dispatched to a report of a rollover vehicle crash that occurred in the area of Bear Flat Rd in Silver Lake. The investigation revealed that the vehicle attempted to negotiate a corner coming down a hill and lost control, going off the side of the road.

Saturday, Jan. 9 — Chance Clause was contacted as the result of a traffic stop. Clause was arrested for two state wide felony warrants. Clause was booked and released from Lake Count Jail. Clause was also found to be in possession of a restricted weapon and charges are being recommended for possession of weapon by a felon. The case has been forwarded to the Lake County District Attorney’s Office.

Saturday, Jan. 9 — Deputies responded to a violation of a restraining order complaint in Christmas Valley. The suspect is an adult male, the victim is an adult female. After witnesses were interviewed the male was arrested for violating the restraining order.

Saturday, Jan. 9 — Deputies responded to a disturbance at the Lake County Jail. Inmates Danny Dial and Seth Bilick became involved in a physical altercation after a verbal exchange. The investigation revealed Bilick suffered minor injuries to his face. The investigation has been forwarded to the DA’s Office for review and charging.
