Monday, Dec. 21 — Deputies contacted Kira Bales in the Daly Middle School parking lot. Bales was issued a citation in lieu of custody for a Lake County warrant.
Tuesday, Dec. 22 — Deputies contacted a victim of a theft from a vehicle at 800 Center St., Lakeview. The victim stated that his shotgun was stolen out of pickup truck during the night. The investigation is ongoing.
Thursday, Dec. 24 — Deputies responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident near the 300 block of N. H St., Lakeview. The operator of the vehicle was transported to the Lake District Hospital via ambulance for evaluation. It was determined that he had significant blood alcohol content. He was arrested for DUII and his vehicle was impounded. The investigation has been forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for charging.
Thursday, Dec. 24 — Deputies responded to a 911 report of a disturbance at the Christmas Valley Market involving an unwanted person. Video of the incident was secured from the market in support of the allegations. The suspect has not been located. The investigation has been forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office requesting a warrant for the suspect’s arrest.
Thursday, Dec. 24 — Deputies began an investigation of the illegal dumping of a washer and dryer alongside Langdon Springs Road, Christmas Valley. Deputies are searching for a suspect.
Thursday, Dec. 24 — Deputies responded to a disturbance in the area of north First and G streets, Lakeview. Eric Jones was observed trying to enter the Lake County Crisis Center building. When deputies arrived Jones tried to enter their vehicle. With assistance from ambulance personnel deputies were able to remove Jones from the vehicle and secure him in handcuffs. Jones was experiencing drug induced paranoia and delusions, he believed he was being chased by persons not present. Jones was transported to the Lake District Hospital for a possible drug overdose.
