Sunday, May 10 – Deputies responded to the 87000 block of Hill Street regarding an assault. The female victim informed deputies that she was assaulted when she went to the suspect’s resident to collect personal belongings. The suspect was contact later that day and was interviewed regarding the assault. The suspect acknowledged striking the victim with a stick, however, stated it was unintentional. The suspect was cited for assault and released in lieu of custody.

Sunday, May 10 – Deputies responded to a 911 call in the 900 block of south I street. The investigation revealed that a known male suspect had trespassed and was refusing to leave the victim’s property. A search of the suspect resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine and a glass pipe and heroin. The suspect was arrested and cited into Circuit Court on the aforementioned charges.

Sunday, May 10 – Deputies and Oregon State Police responded to a 911 call in the 1100 block of south F street. The investigation revealed that a female suspect had trespassed and was refusing to leave the victim’s property. The suspect was arrested and issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Friday, May 15 – Deputies responded to a vehicular crash at the intersection of 4th and north J streets. The investigation revealed that a vehicle was turning off of north 4th street to J street and struck a female pedestrian that was crossing north J street in a wheel chair. Due to contributing factors which resulted in the accident there was no enforcement action taken at this time. The victim was taken by ambulance to Lake District Hospital for evaluation. The investigation is ongoing.
