Monday, Oct. 5 — Deputies arrested Klajie Gerard at 525 N. J St., Lakeview, on a release agreement violation. Gerard was transported to the Lake County Jail without incident.

Wednesday, Oct. 7 — Deputies assisted the Oregon State Police with the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Roberta Road, Lakeview. A Beretta handgun was found during the search. It had its serial number removed. An investigation was initiated and an individual admitted to having the gun. The suspect was arrested for removing a serial number from a firearm and lodged in the Lake County Jail.

Thursday, Oct. 8 — Deputies responded to a report of a single motor vehicle accident on Christmas Valley Highway, west of Christmas Valley. The driver was identified as an 80-year-old male. He did not suffer any injuries. A driver evaluation request has been submitted to the DMV.

Saturday, Oct. 10 — Deputies responded to a report of an adult male attempting to enter an occupied vehicle at the High Desert Coffee Company in Lakeview. The vehicle was locked and his attempt to enter the vehicle was unsuccessful. The suspect was followed by the reporting party to the Lake County Jail where he turned himself in on two outstanding warrants, and for the additional charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Saturday, Oct. 10 — Deputies were notified by dispatch that a male subject was believed to be at a residence at 83000 Christmas Valley Hwy, Christmas Valley. Dispatch reported several calls from various reporting parties stating that he subject was returning to the aforementioned residence, which was the prior residence of a deceased individual. The responding deputy knew the individual to have active felony warrants and was able to arrest the male subject on those active warrants.
