Lake County Sheriff Office Report

Monday June 24th — Deputies contacted the victim of an assault that occurred at the Eagle’s Nest on the night of Saturday, June 22.  The victim stated that the suspect had come into the Eagle’s Nest and was taunting her throughout the night.  The victim left the bar and was approached by the suspect.  The suspect punched the victim in the back of the head than pushed her as the victim was leaving the bar.  The suspect was contacted and stated that she was “blackout drunk” that night and believes someone slipped her a mickey.  The investigation has been forwarded to the DA’s Office for review and charging.

Wednesday, June 26th — Deputies were contacted at the Crisis Center regarding a male text messaging nude photos of himself to a female.  The suspect sent a progression of photos to include nude photos.  The victim asked the suspect to stop sending the photos however the suspect continued and asked the victim to send nude photos of herself to him.  The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Friday, June 28th — While on routine patrol an adult male subject was observed in the area of 11th and south G street who was known to have warrants for his arrest.  The warrants were confirmed and the subject was taken into custody.  The subject was arrested and transported to the Lake County Correction’s Facility where he was booked on the warrant and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Friday, June 28th — While on routine patrol an adult male subject was observed in the area of the 1000 block of South H Street.  The subject was run for warrants, which were confirmed.  The subject was arrested and transported to the Lake County Correction’s Facility where he was booked on the warrants. 

Monday July 1st — Deputies contacted the victim of a restraining order violation at the Christmas Valley Market.  The victim stated that her husband parked next to her vehicle, which was parked in the parking lot and came into the Market to contact her in violation of the order.  The husband was contacted at his residence and interviewed.  The husband admitted that he knew his wife was at the Market however needed gas and something to eat.  The husband was arrested and transported to the Lake County Correction’s Facility where he was booked for violating a restraining order. 

Wednesday, July 3rd — Deputies responded to the 500 block of North J Street regarding a domestic dispute where the female was screaming for help.  The subsequent investigation revealed the male assaulted his ex-girlfriend and fled the scene.  The following day the male suspect was located, arrested and transported to the Lake County Correction’s Facility where he was booked for Assault in the fourth degree and Harassment. 

Thursday July 4th — While on routine patrol Deputies observed a male suspect who was known to have outstanding warrants for his arrest.  The suspect was contacted at the Chevron Station at the intersection of 4th and G Street.  The suspect was arrested and transported to the Lake County Correction’s Facility where he was booked on the warrant and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Friday, July 5th — Deputies were dispatched to Lake District Hospital for a reported dog bite where the victim was contacted in the Emergency Room.  The victim said the dog bit her as she was riding her bicycle on the street.  Puncture wounds were observed to the victim’s lower left leg.  The suspect dog was located in the 500 block of Mountain View.  The dog was seized and impounded for a 10 day quarantine.  The owners of the dog have been cited for animal at large and the investigation has been forwarded to the DA’s Office for review and charging.
