A Vote for Kepple

Years ago, the leader of the company I worked for asked his employees to read a book called “Character is Destiny” by Russell Gough. The premise of the book was that one’s true character is not determined when people are watching, but rather when no one is watching.

As I look at our choices for the 28th District, I see a distinction between the two candidates.   One candidate volunteered his time to help a Boy Scout Troop with a project and conducted tree and trail maintenance for the betterment of the community.  The other candidate has been involved in backroom deals and hiring outside attorneys in the effort to divide our community.

I am a lifelong Republican.  I have written and spoken about the problems with Measure 97, the increase in the state minimum wage and concerns with the proposed expansion of the Siskiyou Cascade National Monument.  Understanding this; this year I vote on character, this year I vote for Todd Kepple.
