Lakeview Community Partnership (LCP) is encouraging businesses to be a part of Small Business Saturday on Saturday, Nov. 28, by participating in its Christmas Ornaments event.

The LCP will provide participating business up to three Christmas ornaments to hide in their store on Saturday, Nov. 28; when people find the ornaments they will receive a free bucket of popcorn at the next Curbside Concession at the Alger Theater.

The LCP is encouraging businesses to add to the fun by providing prizes and discounts to those who find the ornaments in the stores.

Wanting to welcome home-based businesses into the mix, the LCP is encouraging downtown businesses to host a home-based business in their store for the day. The LCP will be hosting at the Alger Annex as well as the Painted Fringe Boutique and the Red Barn Boutique will be hosting home-based businesses.

The Lake County Examiner will be providing advertising space for businesses that are open and supporting Small Business Saturday. For $15, businesses can be named in the ad. Please contact Kait at the Lake County Examiner by Thursday, Nov. 19, to reserve a spot at 541-947-3378.
