Easter Sunday meant Lake County had an abundance of activities in store.

Rain in the forecast, forced the easter egg hunt in Paisley to be held inside Paisley school. The High Desert Cattle 4-H Club put on the big event for children ages 0-12. Special golden eggs were hidden and the golden eggs produced three winners: Alicia Harms, Colin Van Belle and Cheyenne Leehmann. Each child received a gift basket filled with candy and other miscellaneous items.

The Lake County Fairgrounds and New Pine Creek state park were “hopping” with children looking to collect as many easter eggs as possible. The New Pine Creek state park also allowed children to get their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny for lasting memories.
