With a planned Red Cross Blood Drive scheduled for Wednesday, Jan 15, and Thursday, Jan. 16, has been cancelled because of the current snowstorm.

With people and vehicles coming from the Willamette Valley, they did not want to take a chance on trying to get over the mountain passes with the ever changing weather.

Originally the Red Cross was going to hold the blood drive at the Elks Lodge on Wednesday from 12 – 5 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

As of press time there has been no announcement made when it will happen, updates about the rescheduling of the Red Cross Blood Drive will appear on the Lake County Examiner’s Facebook page and in the paper.
