Winds knock down power lines

First responded blocked off streets due to five or so downed power lines in Lakeview.

High-tension lines drooped down low enough for Lakeview Police and Lakeview Fire Departments to shut down South 9th from Birch to Roberta Road and South 3rd from Roberta to about P Street. It isn’t expected that the downed power lines wouldn’t affect Pacific Power customers.

Minutes before, the alarm alerted first responders to a car fire on South E Street. Its owners promptly put out the fire.
