Beulah Rosella Blair “GG”, 71, was called home to her lord on Saturday, July 7, 2018.  Beulah was born in Lakeview to Oley and Mabel (Barrnett) Overton on Nov. 30, 1946. 

She graduated from Paisley High School.   Beulah married Gerald Blair the day after her 18th birthday on Dec. 1, 1964. She worked as a CNA for Lake District Hospital for a short time. Beulah spent most of her life caring for the children of Lakeview. She worked for Head Start and Sunshine Children’s Center as well as did child care out of her home for many years. 

Beulah is preceded in death by: both of her parents; brother John Overton; and sisters, Madeline Overton, Dora Overton, Dottie Beam, and Dixie DeLateur; and sister-in- law, Kathy Overton.

Beulah is survived by: her husband of 53 years, Gerald Blair of Lakeview;  son, Douglas Blair of Lakeview; daughter and son-in-law, Lorene and  Roger Singleton of Lakeview; son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Shelia Harris of Umatilla; and daughter, Corrina Harris of Oregon; brother, Jim Overton of Lakeview; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Hazel Overton of Lakeview, and Donny and Sandra Overton of Christmas Valley;   grandchildren, Cody Blair of Lakeview, Brittany Havely of Lakeview, Emily Blair of Klamath Falls, Kim Thatcher of Prineville, Roman Lopez-Blair of Lakeview, and Ricky Lopez-Blair of Vancouver, Wash.; numerous great- grandchildren and more adopted kids than one can count as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, 2018 at the Elks Lodge with a potluck to follow.

Arrangements are being made by Desert Rose Funeral Chapel.
