Jared Alan Brewster, 31, passed away in Lakeview on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018.

He was born to Chad Brewster and Lori Rathburn in Lakeview on Dec. 31, 1986.

Jared loved cars, trucks and boats - practically anything with an engine.  Driving them, riding in them, or fixing them.  He especially loved the destruction derby, which takes place over Labor Day each year.  He was active in the High Country 4-Wheelers Club.  He owned and operated Lakeview Auto Repair for about two years.  He loved fixing cars, and enjoyed working for his customers, but due to his easy-going personality, the business end proved to be a bit too stressful for him.  After selling the business, he went to work for Pardue Construction where he got to work on much larger equipment.  He loved working for the Pardues, and became very close to them.

He loved Lakeview for the people and all the activities that it has to offer.  He was a good friend to many and loved sharing his activities with his siblings and friends.  Anything he had, he was always willing to share.  We will miss his easy-going personality and loving kindness.  He had an infectious laugh that we will all miss along with his shy-looking beautiful smile.  We mourn his early departure, will miss all the things that should have come, but celebrate in the wonderful memories we have of him.

Jared is survived by:  mother and step-father, Lori and Greg Rathburn; father and step-mother, Chad and Beth Brewster; brothers and sisters-in-in law, Jesse and Mai Brewster and Jordan and Brittany Brewster; brother, Ethan Rathburn; sister, Amanda Brewster; grandparents, Perry and Joyce Collins, Ted and Shirley Brewster and Eva Rathburn; significant other, Kinsey Seaton; and numerous other uncles, aunts, cousins, step-siblings and close friends.

Contributions in loving memory of Jared may be made to the High Country 4-Wheelers, 18743 Roberta Road, Lakeview, OR  97630.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 4th at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Highway 395 North.  Dinner will be provided.

Desert Rose Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
