Robert “Bob” Daley, 89, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday June 5, 2019 in Lakeview.  

He was born Jan. 27, 1930 to Alonzo and Mary (Everhard) Daley, in Medford.  

His family moved to Lakeview where he attended High School.  In 1950 he enlisted in the Unites States Army serving with the 174th Regimental Combat Unit in Korea.  After his service in the military he moved to Paisley with his wife, Jean and children in 1954.  He worked for the forest service, ZX Ranch and then Fremont Lumber Mill where he was a log scaler for 25 years.  He and Jean raised 3 daughters. 

He married Lois Ann Gaylord in 1990 in Paisley where they lived happily for 10 years until her death.

Bob loved elk and deer hunting, steel head fishing and tying the flies.  He was also an avid glass bottle collector.

He is preceded by:  wife, Jean; second wife, Lois Ann; his parents; and sisters, Elenor and Francis.

Bob is survived by: his daughters, Susan Pagara, Evelyn Schmidt and Karen Smith; brother, David; sister, April;  seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;  and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Paisley Community Center, Paisley, with Pastor Wayne Boyd officiating.  There will be a potluck at the community center following the committal. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Paisley Disaster Unit, P.O. Box 208, Paisley, OR 97636 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
