He was born to David H. O’Connor and Cora Ozamis on July 23, 1929 in Lakeview.   Earl attended Lakeview High School and Columbia Prep in Portland.

During his early years, he worked as a hay hand and cowboy for several ranches out of Plush as well as the ZX Ranch in Paisley.  As many from his day, Earl lived the lifestyle of a young Irishman in Lake County.

Earl was well known in Lake County.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Basketball League. Earl was a great storyteller and known for his one-ice cube drinks for those who stopped by to visit.

Earl was hard working, hard playing, a card player, arrowhead hunter and a cigarette smoking man who will be greatly missed by many.
