Monday, Oct. 18 — Deputies responded to 18652 Tunnel Hill Rd., Lakeview, for a report of a 70-year-old male that refused to seek medical help. The male subject was transported to Lake District Hospital on a police officer hold and evaluated by medical personnel and mental health.

Lake District Hospital had 16 admissions and 66 emergency calls for the week of Tuesday, Oct. 19 – Monday, Oct. 25. Not all names of the patients admitted are released for publication.

Monday, Aug. 30 – An OSP troopers stopped Jamar Ismael Rivera, San Antonio, Texas, for a traffic violation on Hwy 140 at milepost 83. A search of the vehicle revealed over 130 pounds of illicit marijuana. River was arrested and lodged in the Lake County Jail.
