Lake County, Oregon Grand Jury Indictments

In the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon for the County of Lake, the defendant, Brandon Deport Arnold, is accused by the Grand Jury for the Lake County of the following offenses: Count 1 - Burglary in the First Degree - The defendant on or about July 22, 2022, in Lake County, Oregon did unlawfully and knowingly enter or remain in a building located at 91492 Water Users Lane, Lakeview Oregon 97630 with the intent to commit the crime of theft therein, and while effecting entry to said building, in said building or immediate flight from said building, defendant was armed with bolt cutters and stolen firearms, a burglary tool or theft device or a deadly weapon. Count 2 - Unlawful Possession of Machine Gun, Short Barreled Firearm or Silencer - The defendant, on or about July 22, 2022, in Lake County, Oregon did unlawfully and knowingly possess a firearms silencer. Count 3 - Felon in Possession of a Firearm - The defendant, on or about July 22, 2022, in Lake County, having previously been convicted in Lake County, Oregon on or about July 17, 2009, of the felony of Theft I in case 090087CR, did unlawfully and knowingly have in said defendant's possession, custody or control a firearm. Count 4 - The defendant, on or about July 22, 2022 in Lake County, Oregon did unlawfully and knowingly commit theft of Ruger Model 77-.17 HMR valued at $1,860.00 with Switch Back Suppressor and Ziss Conquest Scope, a firearm, the property of David VanCleave.
