Friday, Nov. 12 — Deputies responded to a medical aid call in Summer Lake. Contact was made with medical personnel at the scene who advised deputies that a 69-year-old male had passed to what was believed to be heart failure. The investigation revealed that the decedent passed due to natural causes. The medical examiner was notified of the investigation.
Saturday, Nov. 13 — Deputies conducted a traffic stop on south F street near First street. The driver was issued a criminal citation for driving while suspended.
Sunday, Nov. 14 — Deputies responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 100 block of south E street, Lakeview. The investigation revealed that Juan Lopez-Ididro broke windows and damaged a door of two separate residences. He was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail.
Tuesday, Nov. 16 — Deputies took a report of a sexual assault which occurred on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at the Peppermint Hippo in Reno, Nev. The assault was initially reported at Lake District Hospital. The case is under investigation and has been referred to the Reno Police Department.
Wednesday, Nov. 17 — Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of south 11th and G streets in Lakeview. A trash truck was traveling northbound on G street when it struck a pickup truck. No injuries were reported.
Thursday, Nov. 18 — Deputies responded to an unlawful entry into a motor vehicle in the 300 block of north K street in Lakeview. A car was found with its back passenger door open and several items taken from the vehicle. On Friday, Nov. 19, a female suspect was identified and some of the property was recovered. The female suspect was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail.
Friday, Nov. 19 — Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of north J and Center streets in Lakeview. The investigation revealed that the driver, Amelia Bocanegra, had a warrant for her arrest. She was lodged in the Lake County Jail.
Friday, Nov. 19 — Deputies were dispatched to the Interstate 8 Motel in Lakeview. Deputies contacted Lori Rose and confirmed she had a valid Josephine County warrant for failure to appear. Rose was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail.
Friday, Nov. 19 — Deputies responded to a report of an unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. As a result of the investigation, David Austin was arrested for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and felon in possession of a firearm. Austin was booked into the Lake County Jail.
Sunday, Nov. 21 — Deputies were notified by dispatch about a domestic dispute between stepfather and stepson in Christmas Valley. The investigation led to the arrest of the stepson for assault. The stepson was booked into the Lake County Jail.
Monday, Nov. 22 — Deputies observed a white dodge pickup driving on Second Street in Silver Lake and recognized the vehicle as belonging to Amanda Schmidt. Deputies knew that Schmidt had an suspended drivers licenses. The investigation has been submitted to the DA for a warrant for Schmidt’s arrest.
Monday, Nov. 22 — Deputies responded to a 911 call of an assault at the residence of Aries Gaber on Glitter Lane in Christmas Valley. Medical aid was summoned due to Gaber’s medical condition. He was transported to Lake District Hospital, a urine test revealed fentanyl and heroin in his system. Gaber was medically cleared and arrested for a parole violation and booked into the Lake County Jail.
Tuesday, Nov. 23 — Deputies responded to a report of a rollover crash on Christmas Valley Hwy near Crack in the Ground Road. The investigation revealed that two adult males had engaged in a verbal argument. One adult male left the area, and the second adult male then entered his vehicle and chased after the first male’s vehicle. The second male then intentionally struck the first male’s vehicle causing it to crash. The second adult male was arrested and transported to the Lake County Jail.
Thursday, Nov. 25 — Deputies responded to a welfare check in the 900 block of south G street, Lakeview. Deputies found an adult female deceased in the residence. The investigation found the death to be of natural causes. The investigation has been forwarded to the medical examiner.
Friday, Nov. 26 — Deputies responded to a report of harassment at a restaurant on F street in Lakeview. An unknown woman approached a 15-year-old girl and put her arms around her, making the girl frightened until a restaurant employee took the girl into the back room. A suspect was identified through the investigation and the suspect was issued a citation in lieu of custody for harassment.
Friday, Nov. 26 — Deputies observed Jacob Steel walking in a creek bed in the 500 block of south E street, Lakeview. Steel had outstanding warrants for his arrest. Deputies arrested Steel and lodged him in the Lake County Jail.
Saturday, Nov. 27 — Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on Roberta Road and south Third street, Lakeview. The driver of the vehicle was not able to make the turn onto Roberta and struck a power pole guide line. The investigation is ongoing.
