Sunday, Dec. 19 — OSP stopped Michael Charles Coble, Sandy, Utah, for a traffic violation. Criminal activity was observed and the vehicle was searched and a large quantity of money was seized. Coble was cited and released.

Monday, Dec. 20 — OSP stopped Adam Michael Keenan, for a lighting and lane violation on Hwy 140 at mile post 93. Keenan had a felony warrant and was arrested and the vehicle was released to a license driver along with the dog. Keenan was lodged in the Lake County Jail.

Monday, Dec. 27 — Eric Dejean Harris, Lovelady, Texas, was traveling northbound on Hwy 305 at mile post 138 when the vehicle lost traction and drove off the eastbound side of the highway. The driver and passenger was extracted from the truck and taken into town to a hotel. The truck is off the highway waiting for a tow.

Monday, Dec. 27 — Ashley Christian Serpa-Flack, Mountain View, Calif., was traveling northbound on Hwy 305 at mile post 147 when a Xterra driven by Jeremy Michael Guthrie, Lakeview, tried to pass her. Guthrie’s vehicle lost traction and hit Serpa-Flack’s vehicle on the driver side and sent her vehicle off the roadway, while Guthrie’s vehicle went off the westside of the highway. No injuries were reported.

Tuesday, Dec. 28 — OSP tagged an abandon vehicle on Hwy 395 at mile post 59 at the Wells Rest Area. ODOT reported the vehicle as still being at the rest area on Thursday, Dec. 30 and Hall’s Towing towed the vehicle.

Tuesday, Dec. 28 — Trevor Neil Williams, Boise, Idaho, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 140 at mile post 90.5 when he lost control on the snow covered highway and slid into a ditch. No injuries were reported and Hall’s Towing recovered the vehicle.

Tuesday, Dec. 28 — OSP responded to a slide off of Hwy 395 and Hwy 140 involving a commercial motor vehicle being driven by Luis Miguel Inzunza Bernal. No injuries were reported and there was a language barrier between the trooper and the driver. The driver called Ryder and the company asked for OSP to call for a tow for the driver. Larkin Towing from Burns was dispatched to tow the commercial motor vehicle.

Friday, Dec. 31 — OSP located a vehicle that had crashed and was abandoned in a snowbank at the intersection of north First and H streets in Lakeview. Witness statements identified the driver as Tassy Shawntay Rutherford, Keyes, Calif., as the driver of the vehicle. The driver displayed indicators of impairment and was arrested for DUII, a search warrant blood draw was conducted at the Lake District Hospital and Rutherford was lodged in the Lake County Jail.
