Sunday, April 24 — Troopers tagged an abandoned black Chrysler Aspen from Hwy 140 at mile post 49. The vehicle was towed by Hall’s Towing.
Monday, April 25 — Troopers stopped Darrell Sidebottom, Vine Grove, Ky., for a speeding violation at the intersection of north Fourth and K streets in Lakeview. Criminal activity was observed and a consent search of the vehicle revealed a large amount of marijuana. Sidebottom and his passenger — Darrell Wayne Sidebottom, Vine Grove, Ky. — were cited and released in lieu of custody.
