Monday, Dec. 6 — Deputies recovered a Honda 50 motorcycle alongside Missouri Avenue north of Lakeview. The VIN was checked and the motorcycle was not reported as stolen. The motorcycle has been placed in the Lake County’s impound lot for safekeeping.

Tuesday, Dec. 7 — Deputies responded to the 40 block of 2nd street in New Pine Creek for a domestic disturbance. Deputies secured the scene until Modoc County Sheriff deputies could arrive. One adult male was taken into custody by the Modoc County Sheriff Department for domestic violence.

Tuesday, Dec. 7 — Deputies responded to a report of an indecency and theft incident which occurred approximately 10 days prior being reported in the 100 block of Lake place in Lakeview. The incident involved two individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The incident has been referred to Adult Protective Services.

Tuesday, Dec. 7 — Deputies responded to a 911 report of a domestic violence incident on Chinook Road, Christmas Valley, involving a shotgun. The incident involved a husband and his wife. The husband reported that his wife had come out of the house pointing a shotgun at him, threatening to kill him. The wife denied this; however, evidence supported the husband’s statement. The wife was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail.

Tuesday, Dec. 7 — Deputies responded to a commercial motor vehicle crash on Oil Dri Road, Christmas Valley. The incident revealed that the driver of the semi-truck was traveling to fast to negotiate a turn and turned the semi-truck on its side. The investigation is ongoing.

Tuesday, Dec. 7 — Deputies responded to the 500 block of south 9th street, Lakeview, for a report of an assault. The investigation revealed that the female half of a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship had taken a bar and damaged personal property and assaulted the male half. The female was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail.

Thursday, Dec. 9 — Deputies responded to a report of domestic violence on Oil Dri Road, Christmas Valley. The involved parties are boyfriend/girlfriend. The investigation led to the arrest of the male half for assault and menacing. He was booked into the Lake County Jail.

Saturday, Dec. 11 — Deputies recovered a bicycle abandoned in the intersection of south 9th and I streets in Lakeview. The bicycle had been spray painted. The bicycle was placed in the property room for safekeeping.

Saturday, Dec. 11 — Deputies were contacted at the Christmas Valley substation by an adult female. The female explained how she had taken a large amount medication in an attempt to suicide. The female was transported to Lake District Hospital on a mental health hold.

Saturday, Dec. 11 — Deputies responded to the 200 block of north P street, Lakeview, for a report of an assault. As a result of the investigation, Christopher Parker was arrested for harassment and booked into the Lake County Jail.
