Monday, Nov. 1 — Deputies responded to the 800 block of south 8th street in Lakeview regarding a report of a theft from an unlocked vehicle which occurred sometime on Sunday, Oct. 31. Multiple items were stolen from the vehicle. The victim estimated the loss between $1,000-$10,000. The investigation is ongoing.

Monday, Nov. 1 — Deputies initiated a traffic stop for a headlight that was out in Lakeview. Upon contacting the driver, the deputies found her be driving with a suspended license and driving with no insurance. The vehicle was towed by Dieter Towing.

Tuesday, Nov. 2 — Deputies conducted a traffic stop on south H street for failure to stop for pedestrians at a crosswalk within the school zone. The driver, Kira Bales, stopped her vehicle in front of Lakeview High School along a yellow painted curb. Bales was issued citations for driving while suspended, failure to provide proof of insurance, and failure to yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk. Bales’ vehicle had no license plate or registration card. The vehicle was toward by Hall Motor Company.

Tuesday, Nov. 2 — Deputies responded to a report of a theft of a floor jack and fuel from a trailer in a carport on the 700 block of south H street in Lakeview. The investigation is ongoing.

Tuesday, Nov. 2 — A juvenile was cited for minor in possession of tobacco at Lakeview High School. The investigation has been forwarded to Juvenile Probation and Parole.

Tuesday, Nov. 2 — A male juvenile was contacted at Lakeview High School for possession tobacco products. The juvenile was cited for minor in possession of tobacco. The investigation has been forwarded to Juvenile Probation and Parole.

Thursday, Nov. 4 — Deputies responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 200 block of south H street in Lakeview. The investigation revealed that Matthew Harlan lost control of his vehicle and hit two parked vehicles. Harlan was arrested for driving under the influence.

Friday, Nov. 5 — Deputies were dispatched to an assault in Silver Lake. The reporting party stated her boyfriend had punched her in the face. Andrew Scott was contacted and arrested for assault, strangulation and menacing. Scott was booked into the Lake County Jail.

Saturday, Nov. 6 — Deputies responded to the 1000 block of south G street in Lakeview for a report of domestic violence. Upon further investigation it was determined the incident was verbal in nature. Both parties agreed to separate.
