Monday, Nov. 8 — Deputies responded to a 911 report of a domestic violent assault on Cedar Street in Christmas Valley. The investigation led to the arrest of the male subject for felony assault and interfering with a 911 call. The suspect was booked into the Lake County Jail.

Monday, Nov. 8 — Deputies responded to a call about a fake $100 bill being passed at a local business. The investigation revealed that Dustin Herrick had paid for fuel with the fake bill. Herrick was contacted and arrested for forgery. A search warrant was executed at Herrick’s residence, which yielded two additional fake bills. The investigation has been forwarded to the DA’s Office for charging.

Monday, Nov. 8 — Deputies responded to a report of a dog bite that occurred on south I street in Lakeview. The victim was contacted at the Lake District Hospital who was being treated for injuries. Bryan Burke, the owner of the dog, was not at home during the follow up investigation.

Tuesday, Nov. 9 — Deputies received a call for an unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and thefts of items from the vehicle at the Lake District Hospital. The case is under investigation.

Tuesday, Nov. 9 — Deputies responded to a report of a stolen license plate in the 900 block of north 4th street, Lakeview. The investigation revealed that an unknown suspect stole a license plate off of a motorcycle approximately two weeks prior. The investigation is ongoing.

Tuesday, Nov. 9 — A tablet that was found at the post office in Christmas Valley was turned into the sub-station in Christmas Valley. The tablet has been placed into the property room for safekeeping.

Wednesday, Nov. 10 — Deputies responded to a theft from a motor vehicle in the 500 block of north J street, Lakeview. A car stereo receiver was taken from a vehicle parked within a fenced lot sometime the previous night. The investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday, Nov. 10 — Deputies were contacted about a theft of a “No Trespassing” sign that had been taken from the entrance to Auto Works on the 500 block of north J street, Lakeview. A person of interest was contacted, no arrests were made. The investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday, Nov. 10 — Deputies contacted Daniel Miller in Silver Lake regarding multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest. Miller was issued a citation-in-lieu of custody.

Wednesday, Nov. 10 — Deputies were given a brown and black leather wallet that was found within the mailbox at the emergency services building in Lakeview. A note was found in the wallet indicating that it had been found along the 700 block of Center Street in Lakeview. The wallet has been placed into evidence for safekeeping.

Wednesday, Nov. 10 — Deputies and the Oregon State Police responded to a report of a deceased male outside an unoccupied residence in the 100 block of north D street, Lakeview. The investigation determined the decedent’s death was likely the result of natural causes. The medical examiner was notified of the death.

Friday, Nov. 12 — Deputies responded to a report of a theft in the 100 block of south H street, Lakeview. The reporting party stated that a delivered package had been stolen off of her porch the previous day. Deputies reviewed a video and identified a female suspect. The suspect had recently been arrested and was in custody at the Lake County Jail on unrelated charges.

Friday, Nov. 12 — Deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1000 block of south H street, Lakeview. The reporting party said the vehicle, a 2013 Chevrolet pickup, was stolen sometime during the previous night. On Saturday, Nov. 13, the vehicle was found abandoned on Hwy 31. The investigation is ongoing.

Friday, Nov. 12 — Deputies conducted a welfare check on a female subject on Dairy Creek Lane, Lakeview. The female subject was taken into custody for multiple out of state felony warrants. The suspect was booked into the Lake County Jail.

Friday, Nov. 12 — Deputies responded to a call of a female, topless in a hay field, in Christmas Valley who appeared to be distraught. The female was contacted and taken into protective custody. She was transported to the Lake District Hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Friday, Nov. 12 — Deputies responded to a medical aid call in Summer Lake. Contact was made with medical personnel at the scene who advised deputies that a 69-year-old male had passed to what was believed to be heart failure. The investigation revealed that the decedent passed due to natural causes. The medical examiner was notified of the investigation.

Saturday, Nov. 13 — Deputies conducted a traffic stop on south F street near First street. The driver was issued a criminal citation for driving while suspended.

Sunday, Nov. 14 — Deputies responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 100 block of south E street, Lakeview. The investigation revealed that Juan Lopez-Ididro broke windows and damaged a door of two separate residences. He was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail.
