Monday, Oct. 18 — Deputies responded to 18652 Tunnel Hill Rd., Lakeview, for a report of a 70-year-old male that refused to seek medical help. The male subject was transported to Lake District Hospital on a police officer hold and evaluated by medical personnel and mental health.

Monday, Oct. 18 — Deputies responded to the Emergency Services Building in Lakeview regarding a bicycle that was found by the cemetery near north J street and Missouri avenue in Lakeview. The bicycle had been spray painted and was not entered as stolen, it was placed in the property area for safe keeping.

Tuesday, Oct. 19 — Deputies responded to a theft at Ace Hardware in Lakeview. Ace Hardware had surveillance video of Gregory Stephens taking several items without paying. Stephens was arrested for theft III and issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Tuesday, Oct. 19 — Deputies responded to 905 N. 4th St., Lakeview, for a welfare check. Carey Everitt was arrested for multiple probation violation warrants and transported to the Lake County Jail.

Tuesday, Oct. 19 — Deputies began an investigation involving allegations of a parole violation involving Richard Emery. The investigation is ongoing and has been forwarded to the Lake County Community Corrections for review.

Saturday, Oct. 23 — Deputies responded to Sagewood Grocery in Christmas Valley to a complaint of trespassing. The suspect was identified as Kacey Zurcher. Deputies interviewed witnesses and copies of video surveillance. Zurcher had left the scene before deputies arrived. The investigation is ongoing and the submitted to the DA’s Office with a warrant request.
