Monday, Aug. 23 — Deputies responded to a 911 report of a domestic assault in Christmas Valley. The female victim stated that her boyfriend punched her in the head and told her he was going to slit her throat when she was sleeping. The assault as observed by several witnesses. The male suspect was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail.
Monday, Aug. 23 — Deputies responded to the 1200 block of south 12th street in Lakeview regarding the illegal use of a dumpster. Several items belonging to Johnny Turnbull were found inside the dumpster. The investigation is ongoing.
Monday, Aug. 23 — A black wallet full of change was found in Lakeview and dropped off at the Emergency Services building. There were no forms of identification within the wallet. The item has been planed in the evidence locker for sake keeping.
Monday, Aug. 23 — Deputies recovered vehicle parts belonging to Terez Morgan from the 300 block of north H street in Lakeview. The items have been placed in the county impound yard for safe keeping until they can be returned to their owner.
Monday, Aug. 23 — Deputies responded to a report of a male coming onto the property of Drews Valley Ranch and asking for some gas. The male subject then took off walking in an unknown direction. Deputies were unable to locate anyone in the area, though they located a Polaris 4x4 around mile post 74 on the north side of Hwy 140. The Polaris was impounded and taken to the county impound lot for safe keeping.
Thursday, Aug. 26 — Deputies contacted Richard Norris at the corner of north 4th and G streets in Lakeview. The investigation revealed Norris had outstanding warrants for his arrest. Norris was booked in the Lake County Jail.
