It is that time of the year again, when mornings are a tad more brisk; and let’s face it -- afternoons and evenings too.

The weather has officially turned to the cold, bone-chilling onslaught that is winter in the high desert. It is a time that I particularly dread in Southern Oregon, awaiting to find out each morning if my car will actually start, much less if I can actually get moving myself.
