The Lake Health District Board voted unanimously on May 4 to purchase the Heryford building to house mental health.

The Lake Health District Board voted unanimously during its Thursday, May 4 meeting to purchase the Heryford Building to use as its new Mental Health location. Lake Health District has approximately $800,000 from a Behavioral Health Resource Network grant that the Board said it must use to either purchase or rent a building for Mental Health.

The Board had previously discussed purchasing the building but had tabled the topic until it could hold a work session on the idea; that work session took place Wednesday, April 26.
