Alan Cain, 80, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 at his home on the Westside.

Alan was born in Los Angeles, Calif. on Sept. 3, 1941. When he was 4 years old, he moved with his family to Covina, Calif. and lived on an orange grove. When he was 10, his family moved to Murrieta, Calif. to a 100 acre farm where they raised alfalfa, cattle and registered Berkshire hogs. He went to Murrieta Grammar School, which was a 4 room school, and then Lake Elsinore High School where he participated in sports, especially basketball. He attended Orange Coast College and then Cal Poly Pomona, where he majored in business administration. His first job out of college was for Coldwell Banker in Los Angeles in the loan department.
