Betty Lou Morris, 91, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 26, 2021.

Betty was born to Paul and Carrie (Hutton) Ortwein, on Aug. 5, 1929, in Nashville, Tenn.

Betty was married to Billy Ray Morris on Oct. 23, 1948 and raised a beautiful family with a legacy to carry on for generations to come.

Betty was an avid quilter and loved to hunt. She also enjoyed the holidays and decorating for them. Halloween and Christmas were among her favorites.

Betty was preceded in death by: husband, Billy; her parents; son, Jimmy Ray Morris; and daughter; Marion Fay Caswell.

She is survived by: son, Jerry Morris; daughters and sons-in-law, Carrie and Scott Cummins and Connie and Sam Start; son-in-law, Delbert Caswell; brother; Bill Ortwein; sisters, Dora June Ortwein and Joyce Moore; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces; and her beloved dog, Rowdy.

A private family celebration will take place at a later time.
